Marilyn “Sue” Didway, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 at her home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.

She was born on Whidbey Island August 19, 1939, the daughter of Kenneth Hingston and Maggie Heller. When her widowed mother remarried, the family moved to Sedro-Woolley and later to Burlington. Sue graduated from Burlington-Edison High School, a proud member of the Class of 1957.

Sue had an accomplished 26-year career at Skagit Valley Hospital, where she worked as an Accredited Medical Record Technician and Certified Medical Staff Coordinator. In her later years, she continued to serve her community by working part-time and volunteering with Skagit Home Health and Hospice.

Sue is survived by her husband, Bill; her sons, Tim Lowrimore and David Moore, their families; her beloved grandchildren, Mason, Griffin,  Maddie Moore; stepdaughter, Carmen Lyon, her family; her brothers, David and Jim Hingston, and their families.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Charlene Guidinger; her brother, Howard James; and her stepdaughter, Lavisa Corvo.

Sue requested no formal service. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Modine Endowment Fund, c/o Soroptimist International of Sedro-Woolley, P.O.
