Mike and I were neighbors when we were kids. I walked up to his house every morning, had a second breakfast, and then we both ran up to school. Ran, not walked. We were running buddies and used to push each other to the limit.
I got to see Mike for the last time at the 50th AHS reunion. As it turned out, I walked him and his sister out to their car. We talked for a few minutes about things, some important, some reminiscences. Brook came around with the car after about 15 minutes. We smiled and hugged each other one last time. All in all, a pretty good deal.

I loved them both. Both were a part of my life. Terry hugged me and told me to take care and stay outta trouble kiddo:) She reminded me of my mom. Best buds they were. Mike was always the trickster and full of mischief. But so was Terry. Hugs out to everyone. They both were bright lights and now they are out in forever shining like crazy diamonds…..
