Michelle René Patterson, 46, a Sedro-Woolley resident passed away unexpectedly at her home due to a house fire.  She was born on December 12, 1971 in Bellingham, WA the daughter of Bobby and Marlene (Featherkily) Wooten.

Michelle was a loving and kind hearted woman. Her pride and joy were her two boys Cory and Dylan. She taught them about life and what it meant to be a hard worker.  She came home tired but fulfilled from work.  She always gave a 110% of herself in whatever she did; be it parenting, working or helping her boys with simple day-to-day hardships. As a worker she busted her butt, and always put her employees above herself. She would lead by example and always told Cory and Dylan “you never know what people are going through”, “always be kind,” and to “always be ourselves.” It was obvious to everyone she loved her children unconditionally, and she was their rock, a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen, a voice of compassion in times of hardship.

She is survived by her two sons, Cory and Dylan Patterson; mother, Marlene Wooten-Rounds; father, Bob Wooten; sister, Kathy Wooten; brother, Bret (Michelle) Wooten; niece, Joslyn Wooten; and numerous other family members and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her step-father, Carl Rounds.

This world has lost a truly loving and compassionate soul; however, through our example and our hearts she is eternal and will never be gone.  Michelle René Patterson was, is, and always will be the paradigm of a hard worker, a mother and, a dedicated leader.
