Norene Schilter, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Harmony House Adult Family Home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington.    She was born on September 22, 1934 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington the daughter of John and Alice (Butrick) Lindbloom.

Norene grew up in Sedro-Woolley and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1952.  She worked as a bookkeeper at Sedro-Woolley Auto Parts for 7 years until she married Charles Schilter on January 22, 1960 in Sedro-Woolley.

They resided in Snohomish and Everett for a number of years until returning to Burlington in 1990.

Norene enjoyed working on genealogy, working in her yard and caring for her flowers.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles F. Schilter of the family home in Burlington.  Two daughters, Chris Schilter of Mount Vernon and Michele Reeder of Burlington.  Two granddaughters, Melissa Reeder of Maple Valley and Monica Reeder of Burlington.  A sister, Evelyn Egbert and her husband Jim of Burlington; a nephew, Tim Egbert and family of Bow; an aunt, Claretta Buchanan of Sedro-Woolley and numerous cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Mathey and Muff and the staff at North Puget Cancer Center for the special care given to Norene.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery with Pastor Marilyn Kallshian of the Central United Methodist Church officiating.  A reception will follow the services at the Central United Methodist Church.  Arrangements and Services are under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
