Patricia Ruth Trueman

March 17, 1932 – June 25, 2021

Patricia Ruth Trueman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went to be with the Lord in the early hours of June 25, 2021 at 89 years old.  Patricia was born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington to Walter and Ruth Moritz on March 17, 1932.

She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, James Trueman on August 11, 1950. They went on to have 3 wonderful children. Patricia was a wonderful and loving mother.

Pat was described as being the perfect combination of sweet and sassy. She found joy in traveling with her close friends. As well as spending time with her family every chance she could. Some of her favorite times were shopping trips to Nordstrom with her daughter, Karen and granddaughter Heather.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen and son-in-law Rick Saldivar; sons, Randy and David Trueman; granddaughter, Heather Knudsen and her husband Kenny; grandson, Jared Saldivar.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James Trueman; father, Walter; mother, Ruth Mortiz; brother, Melvin Moritz; nephew, Larry Trueman.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Lyman Cemetery.

Special thanks to Hospice of the Northwest, their workers and volunteers for their compassion, care and wonderful support.   Share your memories of Patricia and sign the online guest register.

    Dear family of Pat Trueman
So sad to hear of Pats passing. We attended Sunday school together at the first Baptist church and she was a true and loved Girl Scout friend of mine for over 70 years.
She was a big part of our girl Scout get togethers over the years always
Sharing a memory of our past, sometimes shocking.
I feel as though I know her family as she loved each of you so much.
Hoping she had a peaceful passing.
    An old Girl Scout friend
