Paul Daniel Good

Friday, February 20th, 2015

Paul D. Good passed away peacefully, Friday, February 6, 2015, surrounded by family. Paul fought a 10 month courageous battle with cancer. He never complained and was positive throughout his battle. Paul enjoyed life to the fullest and had many friends wherever he went.
Paul was born February 16, 1944 to Lyle and Faye (Mathis) Good, in Sacramento, CA. He came to Washington when he was six, where he attended Conway Elementary, Edison Elementary and Burlington High School.
Paul entered the army after high school and was stationed in Korea, Alaska and Chicago where he made his home for about 45 years. While in Chicago, he was the owner/operator of Multistate Transmissions for several years and also managed the Worth Mobile Home Park. Paul was an avid fisherman and was never as happy as he was with a pole in his hand. He considered Skagit Valley his home for the last decade.
Paul was a loving father to Leah Powers, Kristy Warren, Paul J. Good and the late Jason Good. He was the cherished grandfather of Andee, Tiffany, Vanessa and Aiden. He is also survived by brothers Kelly, Jerry, Larry and Tim Good and sisters Paulette Quirie, Darlene Estes and Lola Brautigan
Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.

  • Paulette

Paul it was a privilege and honor to be with you to the end. I enjoyed our many talks down memory lane;. And our many car rides to: Fir Island, Laconner visiting cousin Mike, Little Mtn with Jerry & Tina, Burlington & the surounding area and our last trip to Chuckanut Drive. You never complained and held onto your positive outlook to the finish. I love you “little brother” and will miss you, but you are only a thought away! RIP

  • Mary Beth (Mong) Olsen

Many happy memories of Paul and Timothy in our youth as neighbors. So sorry for your loss. My brother, Doug Mong passed away several months ago. It is always difficult to loose a family member and friend, but the good memories sustain us. May your memories be with you always, Beth Olsen
