Philip (Phil) Patrick Mihelich, age 72, of Clear Lake, Washington passed away at home on November 16, 2021.  He was born on November 27, 1948 to Joe and Wilma (Erickson) Mihelich in Seattle, Washington.  Phil graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1967 and married Marilyn Christensen on March 20, 1970 in Enumclaw.  He attended Seattle University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and he attended the University of Washington receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.  He lived in Enumclaw, Fort Knox, Sedro-Woolley and Clear Lake.  Phil worked as a dentist in the US Army for two years and in Sedro-Woolley for 25 years.

Phil enjoyed golfing, boating, camping and fishing.  Phil had a passion for traveling with his wife Marilyn, including more than 20 trips to Europe.  He also loved watching his grandchildren play sports and was an avid Sedro-Woolley Cubs football fan.  He was a member and attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Sedro-Woolley.  Phil was an active supporter of Sedro-Woolley Rotary activities and projects.  He received the Paul Harris Fellow Award and was a past president of the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club.  Phil was a wonderful spouse, father and grandfather.  He will be missed by all his family and everyone who knew him.

Phil is survived by his daughter, Lara and her husband, Andreas Kammereck; son, Matt and his wife, Tristin Mihelich; grandchildren, Davis Mihelich, Maren Mihelich, Karl Kammereck, Elsa Kammereck and Emmett Mihelich; brother, Paul Mihelich; sister, Karen and her husband, Rick Kriewald; niece, Jennifer and her husband, Derek Koellmann and their children, Madison and Sam Koellmann; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Mihelich; parents, Joe and Wilma Mihelich; parents in law, Hans and Dorothy Christensen, and in-laws.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Jim Dalton at 10:00 on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 721 Ferry Street, Sedro-Woolley.  His final resting place will be at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery next to his wife, Marilyn Mihelich, of more than 47 years.
