Susie I am so sorry to hear of Ransoms passing. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for your family.
My uncle Ransom and his mules and sideburns. That’s how I will always remember him. He was instrumental in supporting us kids in 4-H. He also boiled a mean hotdog for us 4-H kids to enjoy after practices. He looks so much like my mom (Ruby Dorsey) those Queen genes are strong. Marcie and Todd, you aren’t never far from my thoughts. Much love to Aunt Jenny.
Rest in peace Ransom earth lost a good man heaven gained a good one !!
Ransom and I used to call each other from time to time. We talked for over an hour when Willie Stokely, (a mutual best friend of ours) died. i’m gonna miss our talks.
My thoughts and Prayers are with each of the family. May you reflect on the wonderful memories.
Ransom was the best man at my wedding. I have so many good memories helping him shoe horses, going riding and working in the shake mill with him . The many visits with him and Jennie, listening to his endless stories . I worked on his house and we would sit on the back porch and just talk. He was as genuine a man as you would ever meet never putting on airs as we say in North Carolina. I loved him for being such a a loyal friend. He will be missed by many none more than me. Prayers for Jennie and family.
Prayers for all of the family, Ransom was a first cousin to my Daddy, L,G Queen, I always loved to see and visit with him when I lived in Washington State, he was a funny happy upbeat guy. I know he will be missed by all.
