Robert Henry Bacus, age 64, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at his home in Roy, Washington. He was born November 12, 1942 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, the son of George and Pearl Ammons and was raised by William and Francis Bacus.
Bob grew up in Sedro-Woolley attending school and graduated from Sedro-
Woolley High School with the Class of 1961. He resided here until moving to Roy, WA in 1970 and worked for Wilcox Farms for 36 years as a Logistic Manager.
Bob was married to Bonnie Jean Wright in 1961 in South Carolina and she preceded him in death in 1993. In 1995, he was married to Trudy Edgar at the family home in Roy, thereby gaining an extended family. Bob was a member of the Moose and Eagles and was an avid hunter who enjoyed life and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Trudy Bacus of the family home in Roy, WA. 2 sons, Kenny Bacus of Stanwood and Randy Bacus and his wife Bonnie of Roy. Step-son, Charles ‘Cap’ Edgar and his wife Carla of Silver Creek, and 3 step-daughters, Thelma Gibb and her husband Ken of Galt, CA, Violet Vigil and her husband Tommy of Saguache, CO, and Trudy Michelle Edgar and her companion Aaron Moody of Yelm. His mother, Francis Bacus of Tumwater. 3 brothers, Art Lutz and his wife Dolly of Falls Church, VA, Denny Ammons and his wife Margaret of Hamilton, and Jim Ammons and his wife Geraldine of Elma and 3 sisters, Mary Sherman of Tumwater, Selah Hooper and her husband Arnold of Orofino, ID, and Elaine Stafford of Sedro-Woolley. 2 half-sisters, Chris Morgan of Chehalis and Darlene Ammons of Sedro-Woolley. 2 step-brothers, Richard Smith and his wife Polly of Selah and Dale Smith and his wife Carla of Yakima and 2 step-sisters, Margaret Littlefield and Zoenne Sargent both of Yakima. 21 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Services will be Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 2:00PM at the Hamilton Cemetery with Pastor Ron Edwards of the Hamilton Baptist Church officiating. A fellowship will follow at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles. Visitation will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday till Noon at Lemley Chapel.
