Robin Lawrence Feetham, age 71, passed away July 29, 2021, at United General Hospital, Sedro-Woolley, Washington.  He was born April 12, 1950, in Seattle, WA, to Larry Cooper and Fay Eleanor (Cook) Feetham.

Robin was a member at one time long ago with the Local Longshoremen Union, and the Local Musicians Union of Seattle.

He was a working musician in the local area with bands Hotel Texas, Good ole Boys, Shaker Insideout, Montbourne, Bobby Lee’s Rhythm and Blues Band, Steve Trembley Band, Kix, RBNU Band, La Monte Band, Coyote Blues.  Robin played bass with Translove Airlines who was the opening band for Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Three Dog Night at the Green Lake Ampitheater on May 11, 1969.  He was always a welcome guest on stages for Jam night, even when he just went to listen to other bands playing, often times he was invited to play.

Robin served on the Town Council in Concrete and later as the mayor.  He was also a Volunteer Firefighter in Concrete as well as years before in Georgetown, Colorado,

His hobbies included building guitars: the first guitar he built at the age of nine, he built it in the basement of the family home.  Then he started playing it for money at ten years old in the fraternity house parties at the University of Washington, Louie Louie was the most requested song of the era.  Playing guitars and bass guitar professionally, recording, mixing and engineering sound recordings for several groups and individuals as well as his own recordings, fishing, creating a bigger better “wrist rocket” sling shot that his dog Kelly just loved when he went out lobbing paintballs or marbles sometimes rocks, she just enjoyed chasing them.

Robin was a published writer, he wrote his first how to manual, Proven Method of Guitar Repair in 1972.  His method of advertising them for sale was an advertisement in the back of Popular Mechanics Magazine.  He wrote a songbook of 51 songs that are copywritten and on file in the library of congress.  His next publication was the Road to Surray album recoded and pressed in 1995 on CD and cassette tape.

Robin is survived by his wife, Darla; daughter, Julie and her husband, Paul J. Creelman; son, Frank Feetham; five granddaughters, Elizabeth and husband, Devin Sanders, Sarrah Creelman, Gabriella and her husband, David Reeve, M. Creelman and Grace Creelman; four great grandchildren, Miles, Joshua, Carter, Callie; sister in law, Elizabeth Feetham; sister, Noel and her husband, Don Curtis; brother, Christopher and his wife, Lauri Feetham, brother, Jon and his wife, Charlene Feetham; sister, Victoria Feetham Chaussee; aunt, Sharen and her husband, Greg Andonian; several cousins; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Eleanor; son, Christopher Robin; brothers, Frank and Timothy; great granddaughter, Kennedy.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00, Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Forest Park Cemetery, Concrete, WA, Pastor Bruce Martin presiding.  Share your memories of Robin and sign the online guest register.
