Ruby L. Wiggins, 94, a longtime Skagit County resident, passed away on October 11, 2009 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley.

She was born on September 7, 1915 in Spartanburg, South Carolina and came to Skagit County in 1948.
Ruby operated the Homeplate Café in Sedro-Woolley and the Jackpot restaurant in Lyman.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Bates and son, Eugene Wiggins both of Sedro-Woolley. 3 grandchildren, Bill Gardner, Judy Vincent and Bob Holland and 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle Gardner and C.J. & Cory Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude in and daughter, Edna Gardner.

Private inurnment will be at the Hamilton Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
