Ruth Kraszeski of Arlington, Washington, died peacefully at home with her family on July 14, 2010. She was 91.
Ruth was born March 3, 1919, in Natural Bridge, New York, the youngest daughter of Jeanette and Carlton Chaffee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, V. E. “Bill” Kraszeski, her sister Helen Campbell and brother Walter Chaffee.
Ruth lived on the East Coast most of her married life where she attended Buffalo State College and St. Joseph University. She was an Elementary School Teacher who loved children.
Ruth was a seamstress and tailor as well as a talented pianist. She is fondly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Patrick Gallagher, grandchildren, Brian (Eliza Jang) Gallagher and Kevin (Anna) Gallagher and great grandson, Jack.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30, on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church, 1200 E. 5th Street, Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Mrs. Kraszeski’s name to Immaculate Conception Building Fund or Evergreen Hospice, 12882 124th Lane NE, Kirkland, WA 98034.
