RUTH LONG, a Sedro-Woolley resident passed away at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA on Wednesday July 3, 2002. She was 78 years of age.
She was born on September 9, 1923 in Freeborn, WA , the daughter of Albert and Reba Everson. She was married to Frank Long on February 14, 1969 in Seattle, WA. She worked for many years at the Skagit Valley Convalescent Center in Sedro-Woolley. Ruth enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and was a very caring and loving woman.
She is survived by her husband Frank, a cousin Doris Boyd of Sedro-Woolley, and a brother-in-law Clifford Josey of Rockwell, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home, 410 Murdock St. Apt. #F in Sedro-Woolley on Sunday July 14, 2002 between the hours of 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Arrangements and cremation under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
