OUR MAW MAW (The following was written by a granddaughter on Mom’s 80th Birthday and the sentiment is still the same today.)
In 1931, in a place called Max Patch, was born to this world, a girl, quite the catch!
A few years passed by, then a move out West. A marriage took place, to us he was the best!
She soon became a mother, three girls and a boy. And though at times I am sure she was less than impressed, those kids gave her many, many years of joy.
Including seven grandkids, and then twelve great grands, she added the name Maw Maw to those already at hand. Like Mom, and Ruth, and the infamous Masqually, what a family she had built, My Golly!
Volunteering, camping, fishing and canning, quilting and sewing, and, don’t forget, garage-saleing. She has so many talents, but honestly, who’s counting? Because it really only matters to those of us who love her dearly, that she hands-down, makes the best biscuits & gravy!
WE LOVE YOU MAWMAW!!
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the NW, 227 Freeway Dr Ste A, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
She was interred in a private family ceremony on August 23, 2022 in Sedro Woolley with Bill Johns officiating.

Prayers for the family of Ruth. She was such a nice person. I know she helped my aunt Allie when she was retired. My parents Jim & Arretta Price knew the family for years and her brother was my uncle. I am so glad I stopped to visit her when I was home in 2018.
