Ryan Evans

Wednesday, September 1st, 2021

Ryan Toby Michael Evans, age 45, of Big Lake, Washington, passed away September 1, 2021.  He was born September 24, 1975, in Burlington, WA to Steven and Diane (Schmidt) Evans.

He loved his girls, as they were everything to him.  He worked super hard to support their dreams, and was a great provider.  He spent 19 wonderful years with Christina (Manning) Evans, the love of his life.  Ryan was loyal to his family and friends, always there when they needed a hand to help.  He was an outdoorsman, as he loved to camp, fish, hunt, snowmobile and especially loved sitting and talking by a campfire.  Taylor and Reagan’s favorite memories include fishing, swimming, and cliff jumping at Lake Shannon.  As well as afternoons golfing and weekends spent cheering them on in the stands.  Ryan was funny but not on purpose, he had a sharp wit and liked to be teased by those that loved him most.  Patience was Ryan’s virtue, he could handle tough situations and see the job through.  Ryan will truly be missed and in our hearts always.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Christina; children, Taylor Manning and Reagan Evans; mother, Diane (Dean) Stiles; siblings, Amy Evans (Clayton Franklin) and Aaron Evans (Kimmy Acosta); along with their children, Ryan’s cherished nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his beloved extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Evans.

A Celebration of Life/ Open House will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 1:00 – 5:00 pm, located at 14554 Josh Wilson Road, Burlington, WA.  Please share your memories of Ryan and sign the online guest register.

It broke my heart to hear about Ryan, he was one of my Sedro Woolley basketball players. He was a great competitor and a wonderful young man! He played along side my son Teddi and always treated us fans with respect. He will be missed.

I worked with Ryan at CB Wholesale for 15 years and am so very sorry to hear of his passing. The people I worked with there were my work family and Ryan was no exception. My heart and prayers go out to his family.
