Sharon Bever, age 94, a long time Sedro-Woolley, Washington resident, passed away September 15, 2024 at home.  She was born August 27, 1930 to Milo and Nada (Hall) Sexton in Sedro-Woolley.

On June 25, 1948, Sharon was united in marriage to Robert ‘Bob’ Bever in Sedro-Woolley and they made their home in Wickersham until settling in Sedro-Woolley.

Sharon was a Sedro-Woolley School teacher for 28 years.  She was known by her family for her open home and unrelenting hospitality.  Sunday dinners, more than enough pies, bottomless cookie jar, early morning waffles or pancakes at a moment’s notice, a coffee pot warmed the moment you entered the door, all without fanfare but a deep love for every person.

Sharon is survived by her children and their spouses, Julie Herzog of Bothell, Roy & Teri Bever of Sedro-Woolley and Jill & David Paulsen of Sedro-Woolley; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; son in law, Bobby Herzog; brother, David Sexton; sister, Mary Lambert.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 Monday, September 23, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sedro-Woolley, Pastor Wilma Reyes presiding.  Her final resting place will be at Saxon Cemetery, Acme, WA next to Bob.
