Dear Bruce, Gary & Brad and Families,
We will miss Sue so much. Watching her leave in the morning for Big Lake and always the friendly waves. It just won’t be the same around here!
Sharon & I enjoyed our walks with her a couple of years ago, she loved her Family very much, and the Grandkids were the “Apple of her Eyes!” We will be holding all of you in our thoughts & prayers.

Mrs. McSpadden was a joy and a delight to know. She always was optimistic and saw the half glass full, rather than half empty. I especially appreciated her because she took excellent care of my daughter while she attended Big Lake, checking her blood sugars when she was very young and later helping her become more and more independent with her diabetes care. She was so concerned and genuinely loved my daughter and took care of her as her own. She will be sorely missed at Big Lake and we were all blessed to have known her.

Mrs. McSpadden will be missed a whole lot by me. When I lived in Colorado a the libraryian’s were mean and grouchy. But when I moved to Washington she always brightned my day. Whenever I was in the library she always smiled at me. She will be missed dearly by my dad and I. I MISS YOU MRS.MCSPADDEN!

Mrs. McSpadden will be missed very much! when i went to big lake, i almost couldn’t attend the school because there was no one there who could take care of my diabetes. Mrs. McSpadden was the one who volunteered to take care of my diabetes. She helped me for the 7 years that i went to big lake. my mom and i were so grateful for her and her help with everything. she was also an excellent librarian. she will be missed. 🙁

I feel fortunate to have worked with Sue and cosidered her a friend not simply a colleague. I will miss her presence at Big Lake Elementary.
