Duvall, Sue young    Sue Duvall, 62, a long time Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014, at Skagit Valley Hospital.

    She was born on May 26, 1952 in Bellingham, Washington to Leo and Olive (Johnson) Bishop.  She was raised and attended school in Bellingham, graduating from Sehome High School. Sue moved to Sedro-Woolley in the mid 1970’s.

    Sue grew up loving horses and had a great interest in all animals, especially her pets, Sassy and Sheba.  She spent her time crafting, knitting, baking and was a winning cake decorator.  She enjoyed BINGO and traveling.  She was a long term employee, working at local hardware stores.  Mostly, she liked spending time with friends and family, particularly family get togethers at the lake.

    Sue is survived by her husband, Roy “Butch” Duvall; sons, James Clark (Nicole) and Darrell Clark (Mia); stepchildren, Duane Duvall, Dennis Duvall (Becky), David Duvall (Nora), Denise Lucker (Shane) and Melena Peitersen (Ron); 20 treasured & loved grandchildren and one great-grandson; sisters, Sandra Ross (Tom) and Sharon Cooper (Bill); brother, Stuart Bishop (Patricia); aunt, Mary Johnson and many nieces and nephews and special friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents.

    Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley, with Life Celebrant Linda Haddon officiating. Interment will follow at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery after which friends are invited to join the family in a reception at Riverfront Park.  The family will receive guests at the time of visitation on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 at Lemley Chapel. At the family’s request, those wishing to make donations in her memory should please consider your local Humane Society.
