Sylvia Danielle Swindle

Sylvia Danielle Swindle

Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011

Sylvia Danielle Swindle, 51, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in a tragic house fire, along with her two dogs, Peanut and Lucy.

She was born on October 28, 1959 in Granada Hills, California, the daughter of Pedro & Silvia (Ramos) Garza.

Danielle was a vibrant, loving and strong willed person.  Her desire to live gave her the strength to endure many health problems.  Though this is a difficult time, we know that she is in a better place now and is no longer suffering.  She will be missed and mourned for lifetimes to come.

She leaves behind her husband of 30 years, Chester LeRoy Swindle, Jr.; her three children, Nahtasha, Matthew and Jacquee; her son-in-law, Caleb; her first grandchild due in September; her mother, Silvia and her brother, Peter.

A Life Celebration will be held at the Sedro-Woolley Community Center on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 1:00 pm.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.

Dear Chet, Nahtasha, Matt, Jacquee, and family,

I am so sorry about Danielle and my prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I was really blessed to spend some time catching up with your mom the last time I came up to WA from CA last fall. We had such a great visit together, and I am so thankful that I was able to see her. It is hard to imagine how long ago it has been since you all appeared in our lives, swinging hammers on our houses in Mt. Vernon. 1987! Many happy hours spent together enjoying your mom’s (and your) company.

Please know she set the example for each of you to always do the right things in life and strive to be a better person, and her love for all of you was always first and foremost. Carry that with you always. Much love to all of you – Tim and Debi send their prayers to all of you as well. I wish I could be there in person to give each of you a huge hug, but I am sending them in my thoughts for you.

    Love, Tami
