Video of Tahnee’s Service

Tahnee Renee Crawford, 51, long time Skagit County resident, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Skagit Valley Hospital after a short but very courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on May 4, 1970 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington the daughter of Frank and Tami (Miller) Ensley.  Tahnee attended school and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School class of 1988.

Tahnee was most happy being able to work with and help people.  Tahnee worked for the Sedro-Woolley School District, later starting her career in the social services field where she was able to support adults with disabilities, and most recently performing office administration for Amazon in their downtown Seattle office.  Tahnee quickly made lasting friendships with students, co-workers, clients & their families most of which became lifelong friends.  Tahnee was also a chartered member of the Sedro-Woolley Community Church.

Tahnee enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Anisa who was the light of her life, her family & friends, singing, playing piano, watching movies & musicals, spending time at the ocean or the family cabin, playing board games, clipping coupons & browsing the sales ads; Tahnee could NEVER pass up the clearance section of any store.

Tahnee is survived by her mother, Tami Ensley of Sedro-Woolley; son, Alden Crawford of Forks; granddaughter, Anisa Crawford of Lynnwood; sister, Tyanna  Ensley (Scott); nephews, Daniel Estes (Rachael) and J’den Price of Sedro-Woolley; aunt Candy & uncle Fred, of Woodinville; companion, Tony Ertel of Everett; along with numerous cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Ensley; grandparents, Howard & Frances Miller and Luther & Mary Jane Ensley, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley and she will be laid to rest immediately following at the Hamilton Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Providence Regional Cancer Partnership and Swedish Oncology for the compassionate care they provided.  Also, a special thanks to Sarah Thornhill & Julie Handy for the loving care they provided during her final weeks.

Donations can be made to the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership “Providence Cancer Partnership Fund”.  Share your memories of Tahnee and sign the online guest register.
