Timothy Lee Fisher, 53, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, January 13, 2020.

He was born on March 7, 1966 in Anaheim, California. Tim spent most of his life in Southern California and Las Vegas where he spent most of his time being a creative soul and trying his hand by opening several businesses from landscaping, retail gift shops and flipping houses.

He moved to the Skagit Valley in 2016 with his partner Pat Ball and together they opened The Slider Café in La Conner, and that’s when he fell in love with the community.  He was happiest at the Cafe meeting and taking care of the customers with his whit, charm and snarkiness, which turned them into regulars and friends.

A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Maple Hall, 104 Commercial St, La Conner, WA 98257.

He is loved and will be missed by many.  RIP Tim

I am so sorry I wish I heard of this sooner, my heart is broken. He was such a kind soul. I will miss giving him hugs, chatting and laughing with him. No matter what he was going thru he always put everyone first. He always was smiling even in pain. He had such a positive out look on things. Meeting his father I now know where he got his heart from. Not to say Slider Café was the neighbor hood breakfast stop. Him and his partner are one of my favorite couples I have a pleasure saying I know them. I hope prayers, healing and peace comfort the family and I hope his father has a safe travel back home. Your son was an amazing human. He will FOREVER hold a place in my heart.
