Timothy ‘Tim’ Haussler

Monday, January 31st, 2022

Timothy “Tim” Haussler, 67 of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, from pancreatic cancer.  Tim fought with everything he had but lost his battle at home peacefully with his wife by his side.  Tim was born March 18, 1954, to Allan “Ted” and Barbra Haussler in Sedro-Woolley, WA.  He was married to Rhoda in 1983.

Tim worked as a shake packer in his younger years for several different mills in the area.  He graduated from Skagit Valley College with an Associates in business.  He was a custodian at Laventure Middle School for 20 years before retiring.  Tim was an avid fisherman, hunter, and member of the Steelhead club.  In his younger years, he was always on the river in his boat or out hunting.  He also was on three separate bowling leagues locally, and he was a softball player as well.  He enjoyed concerts, camping, going to the casino and his absolute favorite thing to do with his wife, was to go to Alaska and fish.  Tim also coached his kids in soccer, t-ball, baseball, and football when they were younger.  He was very active in the kids’ sports.  Whatever Tim did, he did 100%.  Tim’s interesting sense of humor and dad jokes, his “cool dad” shenanigans and his one-of-a-kind laugh will be missed by all.

Tim is survived by his wife, Rhoda Haussler of Sedro-Woolley; son, Timothy Jr. “TJ” (Christi); daughters Charlene (Bill) and Erin (Omar); grandchildren, Christian, Alan, Isaac, Elizabeth and Alysiana; siblings, Shawn (Dan), Chip, Stephanie, Marcy (Eric) and Teddy; numerous nieces, nephews and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbra and Ted Haussler; grandparents, Maxine and Raymond Arnold and Dorothy Krotzer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00, Thursday February 10, 2022, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, followed by a Graveside Committal at 1:00 at Forest Park Cemetery in Concrete.  A time of visitation will be available from 9:00 to 5:00, Tuesday and Wednesday at Lemley Chapel.  Share your memories of Tim and the online guest register.

    Dear Haussler Family
I lived 2 houses down from Ray & Maxine Arnold, and walked to Maxines to see Barb & new Baby “Timmy.” We were thrilled to visit Timmy anytime Momma would let us.
We were closer in age to Steve, but loved the high school girls in white bucks and long pencil skirts.
When Timmy was walking Grandma Maxine would bring him to our house while Momma & Maxine had coffee together. He was always a sweet little boy

We didn’t see him much after Arnold’s moved across the river to their new home.
I’m very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sympathy
