VAUDA E. KIMPLE, a former resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away on Friday, June 14, 2002 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was 74 years of age.
Vauda was born on December 2, 1927 in Shelton, WA the daughter of Harold and Golda Dugger Mullen. She was raised and attended school in Marysville, WA. She had many talents and she was a wonderful artist and a fabulous cook. No one left her house hungry. She also loved to dance and she was very proud of her Scot and Irish lineage. She had a great love for her family which she showed in so many ways. She will be dearly missed.
Vauda is survived by her four children: daughter and son-in-law Jeri’lee and Ron McCoy of Sedro-Woolley, sons Dan Bennett of CA, Terry Bennett of LA, and Dale Bennett of WA; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Jim Mullen of Florence, AZ and Dale Mullen of Omak, WA.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Garnet Bennett in 1979 and her second husband, Ray Kimple in 1989.
The family suggests memorials be made to Skagit Hospice Foundation, PO Box 1376, Mount Vernon, WA 98273-1376.
Graveside Inurnment services will be held at the Marysville Cemetery on Friday, June 21, 2002 at 10:30 A.M. Cremation and arrangements under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.

    Cousin Vauda was FUN, where ever she was there was a party, she entertained and feed everyone. She loved to laugh, she loved her family and I miss her.
