William (Mike) Mitchell, age 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep October 15, 2022.

Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent his life in the woods and rivers of Washington. His long career as a timber-faller took him to the most remote and scenic locations. He loved the wild places and was most at home with a saw in his hands. May he find blessed peace, now he abides with his loved ones.

He is survived by his brother, Darryll; his children, Mark and spouse, Kimmie, Mike and spouse, Tina, Gary, Michelle, Sheeme and Jake.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chester; his mother, Marie; his sister, June; his brothers Gary and Phil; his wife, Shelia Jane.

A time of visitation will be held at Lemley Chapel, 11:00 to 1:00, Thursday and the Graveside Service will be at 2:00, Friday, October 21, 2022, at Hamilton Cemetery.

Thinking of you Mark, Gary, Jake and the rest of the family.

Fly high Mike, we will all miss you!! Had good times picking mushrooms, hanging out with you and Sheila. Catching my first fish with you and Jake, that was so awesome, plus cleaning it myself, yuk. But you told me how and I did it. You were always there for me when I needed. Give Sheila a huge hug for me.

Our families have so many memories together. RIP, Mike ❤

To Mike’s family and friends: I’m so sorry for the loss of your dad, grandpa and an all time wonderful man. I can see him and his 1st love Shelia greeting one another as they dance among the stars. May you all find comfort in the Lord’s loving arms and hold each other dearly. Prayers for all.
