Connie Fischer, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, WA.
She was born July 10, 1925 in Azusa, CA, the daughter of Harry and Ethel George Allen.
Connie was a resident of Burlington for the past 8 years and formally resided in Ocean Shores for 9 years and prior to that in Everett for 25 years.
She was a member of the North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church. Connie enjoyed painting, dancing and animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by her son, Gary Gossett and his wife, Bonnie of Burlington and two step-sons, Donald Fischer and his wife. Chris of Colbert, WA and Mike Fischer and his wife, Laura of Spokane. Her grandchildren, Sean Gossett and Rebecca Hinton and great-grandson, Andrew Gossett and step-grandchildren; Stephen and Elizabeth Fischer and Justin Fisher. She also is survived by her church family at North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church and her cats, Mingo, Sassie, and Goldie.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church on Hwy 20 in Burlington with Pastor Gary Fogelquist officiating. Private family graveside services will be held Monday, May 7th at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monroe, WA. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
