KAYE L. LEDERLE, 67, a lifelong Sedro-Woolley resident passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2006 at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.
She was born on November 28, 1938 in Sedro-Woolley, the daughter of Walter & Mildred Broe Tingley, and was raised and attended school in Sedro-Woolley, graduating from Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 1957.
On September 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to Charles Lederle in Sedro-Woolley and together they have made their home there for almost 50 years, except for a brief stay in Texas.
Kaye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and ‘mom’ to many.
She loved to cook and do craft work making cards and decorating cloths; tending to her flower garden, having her monthly get together with the Tuesday Ladies Lunch Group and ‘just relaxing at the creek.’
Kaye is survived by her husband, Charles in Sedro-Woolley; her daughter and son-in-law, Beth & Steve Ward of Kent and son and daughter-in-law, Charlo & Vicki Lederle of Sedro-Woolley. 8 grandchildren, Alyssa & James Ward, Charlie, Jesse & Jennifer Lederle and Danielle & Rindi Germanoff. Her sister and brother-in-law, Jan & Don Walker of Republic, WA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley followed by a potluck fellowship at the cabin on Day Creek. Private inurnment will be at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Virginia Mason Hospital Foundation, PO Box 1930, M.S.-D1SF, Seattle, WA 98111. Services and cremation under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
