Rosemary ‘Ann’ Bauter, 69, a long time Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away at her homeonFriday, April4, 2008.
Rosemary was born on October 11, 1938, in Bellingham, Washington, one of five children of Roy and Ruth Elliott Bauter. She was raised in Bellingham and graduated from Bellingham High School.
Rosemary was a creative person and will be remembered by her many beautiful afghans. She would knit or crochet for anyone who could use a new blanket. She also spent much of her time outdoors with her family and friends, who she always kept close to her heart. Rosemary’s life at times was difficult at best, but she was always able to put her own troubles to one side and lend an ear or a helpful word of encouragement to her young children or their friends. Rosemary Ann later also came to be known as ‘Merna’. A name given to her in good hearted fun, love and affection by her children and grandchildren. She was a good friend and a loving mother. She will be missed.
Rosemary is survived by her special companion, Gary Lindquist of Sedro-Woolley. Her two children, Jene Elliott of Snohomish, WA and Ron Stuber of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Two grandchildren, Kjel and Anthony TJ Stuber of Sedro-Woolley, WA. A brother, Al Bauter of Sumas, WA and a sister, Diane Bauter and her family, of Sedro-Woolley. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Roy and Ruth Bauter; a brother, Melroy Bauter and a sister, Lena Bell Ole Bauter.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Big Lake Lodge, 16846 Mt. View Road, Mount Vernon. Cremation arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Please sign the online guestbook for Ann at www.lemleychapel.com
