Willie Jack Tucker, age 65, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at his home in Concrete, WA.
He was born December 25, 1942 in Augusta, Georgia.
Willie was a resident of Concrete for the past 6 years and formally resided in Tacoma for many years and prior to that in Germany and Georgia. He worked as a carpenter at Western State Hospital at Ft. Steilacoom for 18 years. Willie enjoyed playing pool, cars, working in his yard, and he loved cowboys and watching western movies. He was loved by his family and friends and he will be missed by all.
He is survived by his companion, Myrna Dupey of Concrete. His children, Michael Tucker of Mount Vernon, Tammi Tucker, Robyn Tucker, and Tymkea Lampkins-Tucker all of Tacoma, Tommy Tucker of Tonasket, Rocky Birdsey of Bellingham, and Tiana Tucker of Minnesota. His mother, Gracie Jones , 2 sisters, Julia Prince and Lulu Mae Geter and a brother, Willie B. Jones all of Augusta, GA. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service & Potluck will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 2:00PM at the family home 44903 Compton Lane in Concrete. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Sedro-Woolley Branch of Bank of America. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
