Hi to you, Dee❤️I saw your Mom’s obituary in the paper & wanted you to know I thought your Mom was so cute, perky & I always got a kick out of her when she would come to Dr. Luther’s office. You were always so good to your Mom & it seemed like you had a very good time together? I know you did??So sorry for you loss? She’s in Heaven & reunited with her hubby & your husband forever ?
Thinking of you & your family,
Susie ( Dr.Luther’s nurse)
To My Mom,
Mamma, God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered “Come to Me.”
Your spirit lives on and always will. The times you laughed, gave advice, or just listened, echo in the memories of those whose lives you touched. And in being so remembered, Mamma, your legacy will live on through all those who came to know you.
I love you Mom and will miss you. Just know this little letter will go directly up to you and this little saying I found:
Goodbye is not forever
Goodbye is not the end
It simply means I’ll miss
you Mom,
Until we meet again
Love you more,
Your Daughter Kitty
XOXO
I wrote a message in the Herald but wanted to add one here also. Martha was a dear friend to my family and such a wonderful link in our intertwined families. I’ll always remember listening to her and Dad Rocky Voth reminisce about the good old days “upriver”. I am sending lots of love from Albuquerque to all of her family. Maureen (Mimi) Voth Cordova
So sorry to hear of your loss. Oh my, how you will miss her! It is wonderful to know that she had a great life, a fine family and near perfect love and most importantly she had her faith .I sat here and let my thoughts go back to the days when she worked hard when Ray was ill and I was so often there at your house and I laughed at all the macaroni we ate, and all the hair cutting and styling and dressing up. She never got mad at us.She was so sweet. May God comfort you, for surely it is only He who can. This passage is one of the most difficult in this life and our only comfort comes from the fact that our Lord said ” I am the resurrection and the life, and all who lives and believes in me, shall never die. May God keep you in His care.
Aunt Mart,
You were always a very special person to us and you will always have a special place in our hearts. We love you more, Shelly and Danielle.
We are saddened by the loss of Aunt Mart, but know she is in a better place, free of injury and pain. It is certain that she is basking in the glory of Heaven, surrounded by her Mother, Elsie Chambers, her father and step-mother, Roy and Ethel Dickinson, her sisters and brothers who have gone before. She once again is holding hands with Uncle Ray, welcomed with a hug from Daddy (Bill Iund), Uncle Pink (Leon Iund), Aunt Louise (Louise Iund), Grandpa “Pop” Iund and Grandma “Tuck” Iund. I’m also sure she is surrounded by the babies who passed before her and without a doubt she is hugging each one closely as she has always loved little children.
While she will be missed by each of her remaining family members, friends, classmates, nieces and nephews she will never be forgotten.
From the 12th of May until eternity, when the sky clouds over and the thunder and lightning strikes, fear not … the commotion is not threatening … it is just Martha Mae Rose Dickinson Iund doin’ the Tarheel Stomp !
RIP Aunt Mart. You may be gone, but never forgotten.
