Steven D. Edson, 66, a resident of Burlington, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday April 2, 2018.

He was born on April 7, 1951 to Roscoe and Marilyn Edson in Sedro-Woolley, WA. He graduated from Burlington Edison High School in 1969. He graduated from Skagit Valley College with an AA degree in Auto Mechanic in 1971.

He spent the early working years of his life as an automotive tech at a few of the local dealerships. The later years of his life he worked alongside his mother Marilyn enjoying their pilot car service business until she passed, then he and his twin brother, Stan continued to run it up until the last days of his life.

He was an avid member of the Burlington Eagles for many years, serving as the club’s past President.

Steven is survived by his son, Craig and wife Alisa; grandchildren, Austin, Alye and Mackenzie; brother, Dave (Joan), twin brother, Stan (Deanna), best friend, Doug Kutzer (Cindi), and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Marilyn Edson and older brother, Dennis Edson.

Steven enjoyed his daily visits to the Iron Skillet and we would like to give a special thanks to Reba and her kind staff. The family would also like to thank the staff and Dr. Fish at UGH for all that they have done.
