Theresa “Terie” Walker

Sunday, September 26th, 2021

Theresa (Terie) Marie Walker of Sedro Woolley, passed away September 26 2021, surrounded by family at United General Hospital.  She was born in Sedro Woolley, WA on December 15 1952, the daughter of Roger and Mildred Jensen, as well as the youngest of two older sisters.

She worked as a hairdresser and at Albertsons which is where she met her husband and the love of her life, Shay Walker. Shay and Terie were united in marriage on July 30, 2003 and shared a love that could never be compared.

Terie was survived by her two daughters, Kim (Ron) Russell, Kasandra (K.C.)  (Luke) Soren; Shay’s five children, Mindy (Marcelino) Mejia, Amber (Brad) McLaughlin, Sara Ulrich, Courtney Brooks, Shay (Samantha) Walker all of Sedro Woolley; 17 grandchildren; Curtis, Makayla, Keiarra, Jensen, Charlie, Talia, Anneliese, April, Spencer, McKenzie, Bradley, Rebecca, Robert, Brian, Liberti, Peyton and Eloise; 1 great grandchild; Allie. sisters; Karen Kelly,  Sandra Cobb; niece; Emily (Bruce) Brower;  nephew, Larry Brower; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Terie was the core and rock of our family and will be missed by many.

She enjoyed shopping with her sister Karen, talking to her niece Emily for hours on the phone, getting her nails and hair done, and you would never catch her without a new purse to fit the theme of the month.  She had a passion for life and always made sure her family was taken care of. But without a doubt her favorite part of life was her grandchildren.  She spoiled them, fed them, cared for them and did everything they could have asked for in a ‘nana’ (if you know her, you know not to call her grandma) and they were always welcome to stay as long as they wanted.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Mildred Jensen; sister, Sandra Cobb.

Mom, The ‘nan’, Nana, Mama. We love you, so much, more and to the moon and back.

A celebration of life will be held at the Masonic Lodge located at 106 Warner St, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284 on October 24, 2021 at 5:00pm for the remembrance of Terie.   Share your memories of Terie and sign the online guest register.

My beautiful mom. I still hear your voice, and see your face. The one person who can guide me through this is gone. I hope it never really sinks in. I hate everything
