Dianne Lynne Kremer, 55, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 9, 2010.
She was born in Watertown, South Dakota on February 16, 1955, the daughter of Maynard & Mary (Karpinske) Kremer.
In 1957 Dianne moved with her family to Sedro-Woolley where she was raised and attended school and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 1973.
In 1974 she was united in marriage to Don Adkerson and they made their home in the Skagit Valley until moving to Nampa, Idaho in 1980 where she was a devoted wife and mother to her children.
In 1999 Dianne returned to make her home in Sedro-Woolley, and with her family grown she worked as a bartender at her sister’s tavern, Moe’s Castle.
Her leisure time was spent reading and doting on her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Dianne is survived by her children, Amanda Linde and her husband Brian of Conway and their children Makenna Nicholson and Bristol Linde and Donnie Adkerson and his wife Tracee of Lyman and their children Kalin and Karstyn Adkerson. She also leaves behind three sisters, Cheryl Bice (Wes) of Ferndale, Sandra Kremer and Michelle Keenan (Bobby) of Sedro-Woolley and two brothers, Wayne Kremer and Joel Kremer (Tonya) of Sedro-Woolley, her step-father, Don Pewitt and a step-sister and step-brother, her former longtime companion Ron Tritten and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Maynard Kremer and her mother, Mary Pewitt and one sister Barbara Holland.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Jim Cannon officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Cancer Care Center at United General Hospital, 2000 Hospital Drive, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
I knew Dianne’s sister, Cheryl the most. I used to come over to Cheryl’s house when she was watching Dianne. We all had fun times together. Hugs to you all, so sorry for your loss. Sharon Klippert Thomas
