Alice Marie Adams, a resident of Hamilton passed away Sunday, June 13, 2004 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 46 years. She was born March 10, 1958 in Mount Vernon, WA the daughter of Robert and Ilah Filley Johnson. Alice grew up in the Hamilton area attending school and graduating from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1976. She was married to Chuck Adams on August 3, 1976 in Sedro-Woolley residing in Sedro-Woolley until 1992 when they moved to Spirit Lake, Idaho and later returned to Hamilton in 2001. She was a homemaker and worked as a care giver. Alice enjoyed sewing, her family, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Alice was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Sedro-Woolley. She is survived by her husband Chuck Adams of the family home in Hamilton. Her children Robert and his wife Angel Adams of Coeur d’ Alene, ID and Renae Adams of Hamilton, WA. 3 grandchildren Jonathan Adams, Jayden Adams, and Suzie Kenoyer. Her father Robert R. Johnson of Hamilton, WA. 2 sisters Phyllis and her husband George Sutherland of Port Angeles, WA and Teresa and her husband Jeff Moody of Pumkin Center. A brother Jim and his wife Reva Johnson of Birdsview, WA. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Brothers and sisters in law John and Jeanie Adams of Coeur d’ Alene, ID, Jill and Randy Core of Fairbanks, AK, Cheryl and Darrell Smith of Concrete, WA and a sister in law Ginger Davis of Sedro-Woolley, WA. She was preceded in death by her mother Ilah, father and mother in laws John and Evelyn Adams, and a sister in law Laurel Berry.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 17, 2004 at 1:30PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Sedro-Woolley with Father J. Patrick McDermott as Celebrant. A reception will follow the services at the Parish Hall. Private Family Inurnment Services were held at the Hamilton Cemetery.
