Annie C. Coggins, 81, a longtime Sedro-Woolley resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on February 25, 1927 in Tifton, Georgia, the daughter of Henry & Georgia Holman Parrish.
As a young girl she met Cameron F. Coggins and they were united in marriage in 1943 and they made their home on the east coast until moving to Sedro-Woolley in the mid 1950’s.
Annie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and her ‘babies’, the dogs. She was also a longtime member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sedro-Woolley.
Annie is survived by her children; Judy Daggett of Bellingham, Mona Allquist of Burlington and John Coggins and his wife, Jackie of Alger. Four grandchildren, Lee Hornbeck and his wife Annette, Cheryl Archer and her companion Paul Logan, Sean Coggins and his wife Melissa and Drew Coggins.
Two step-grandchildren, David & Dale Archer and eight great-grandchildren, Anna, Cole, Taylor, Jacob, Big Jacob, Whitley, Ashton and Kayley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cameron and a son-in-law, Bob Allquist.
Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Skagit County.
Graveside inurnment services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery with Pastor Roger Jones of the Church of God of Prophecy officiating.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
