Bernice Margaret Mitchell a resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away Sunday, October 12, 2003 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 96 years. She was born September 9, 1907 in Quincy, WA the daughter of Albert and Lydia Riser Ross. Bernice was married to John Mitchell in 1929 in Oakville, WA and resided there until 1994 when she moved to Sedro-Woolley. Bernice enjoyed flowers and tadding. She is survived by her daughters Betty Crippen of Sedro-Woolley and Lois and her husband Doug Johnson of Lancaster, CA and a son Robert and his wife Eleanor Mitchell of Redmond, WA. 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John in 1990, 2 sons Delbert and Edwin and 5 brothers.
