Billy Clyde Robertson
May 13, 1931 – June 14, 2009

You will always be our hero!

Born in Kaycee, WY to the late Albert Marvin Robertson and Rosa Mae Key Robertson.
Survived and much loved by his caring wife of 56 years, Mary Ellen Robertson who was the love of his life. His daughter, Connie Lyn Robertson and his son, Billy Dean Robertson. Grandchildren, Jarrod Alan Robertson and Andrea Michelle Brown, who affectionately referred to Grandpa as ‘her Grumpy’, and by a great-grandson, Riley Robertson.
Bill will also be missed by his brother, J. Stanley Robertson and sister, Helen M. Robertson. Also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Roy & Marvin Robertson; niece, Teresa Kelley & great-granddaughter, Katrina Robertson.

Bill spent five years in the U.S. Navy and then became a carpenter, a bar owner and then locksmith for U.S. Bank of WA. He was smart, witty and could fix anything. The mischievous twinkle in his eye was usually warning of a practical joke or getting teased about something.

Bill taught his children and grandchildren how to hunt, fish, water ski and much more. He was a pilot and loved to fly his planes! Always a loving, giving and fun father, yet he was stern when he needed to be. Bill & Mary spent many retirement years traveling and enjoying adventures and meeting new people in Mexico and California.

‘Wild Bill’ loved a great party, so please join us on Saturday, June 27th at 3:00 PM at the family home in Rockport, WA, for a Celebration of Life and old fashioned potluck. For address or directions, email Connie at connielynr@comcast.net
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
