Cheryl Bates (granny), 71 of Hamilton passed away peacefully in her home on Febuary 5th, 2024.

Cheryl was born on October 24th, 1952 to Paul and Dorothy Wagner in Wisconsin. She was a beloved mother, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. She had one of the biggest hearts but also a very stubborn, strong, and independent woman you would have ever of met. Family was very important to her. There was never a time that there wasnt an extra chair or two around the dinner table, to her it was just another potato to throw in the pot. Cheryl is survived by her 3 children, Craig Bates (Karla) with 7 grandchildren with spouses and 19 great grandchildren of Kansas, Scott Bates (Michelle) with 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild of Hamilton, Mandy Bates (Danny) with 2 grandchildren with spouses and 5 great grandchildren of Hamilton.
