Clara Marie Davis, a former longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley passed away Sunday, October 6, 2002 at the Life Care Center in Mount Vernon at the age of 83 years. She was born July 12, 1919 in Lynden, WA the daughter of John and Anna Heider Jensen. Clara resided in Sedro-Woolley for many years where she raised her family and worked as an Administrative Secretary at Northern State Hospital till its closure. After the closure of Northern State Hospital, she followed her dream and went to school to study pottery and clay art. She resided in Edison where she operated an art studio for 15 years. Clara was an inspiration to her many nieces and nephews in teaching them the importance of art and nature. She was not a conventional person, but was ahead of her time in her views and her independence.
