Connie June DeLano, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, WA. She was born December 31, 1935 in Nodaway, Iowa, the daughter of Leslie and Willa Banks Wallace.
Connie was raised in Vancouver, WA and was later married to Larry DeLano and they resided in Sunnyside, WA until moving to Skagit Valley residing in Hamilton, Sedro-Woolley and Mount Vernon where she worked as a legal secretary for many years. For the past 10 years, she has resided in Everson, WA. Connie enjoyed crocheting, needle work, and playing scrabble.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Karin Warren and her husband, Jim of Deming and Lori DeLano of Phoenix, AZ, and her son, Scott Bauder and his wife Mollie of Mount Vernon, daughter-in-law, Heather DeLano of Sedro-Woolley. Her brother, Lou Gilson and his wife, Lori of Oregon, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband Larry, and her son Rocky DeLano.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Ron Deegan of the Mount Vernon/Burlington First Baptist Church officiating. Private inurnment will be in the Urn Garden of the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
