Dorothy Inez Krogh passed away Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Merry Haven Health Care Center in Snohomish, WA at the age of 97 years. She was born April 8, 1906 in Kent, WA the daughter of William and Addie Belle Watts Lee. Dorothy was a resident of the Cape Horn and Concrete areas since 1970, coming here from Everett where she resided for ten years, and the Seattle area before that. She was married to Clare Krogh on April 1, 1931 in Seattle and he preceded her in death in 1986. Dorothy was a member of Eastern Star, and was a master gardener, and she also enjoyed oil painting. She is survived by her daughter Audrey Clare Emrick of Central Point, OR and a son Richard Krogh and his wife Sharon of Bonners Ferry, ID. 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. 2 sisters Vera Lee Munson and Laura Pollack both of Everett, WA and a brother Bill Thomson of Port Angeles, WA. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers Kenneth, Renold, Robert, and Raymond Lee, a sister Olive Westby, and a longtime friend Bill Robinson. At Dorothy’s request there are to be no services with cremation under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Memorials are suggested to Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
