EARL GEORGE ‘BUD’ MIDDLETON, 84, a resident of the Sedro-Woolley community, passed away on Monday December 1, 2003 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley.
Bud was born on November 3, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Burtram & Margaret Robinson Middleton. He came to Washington as a young man and from there enlisted in the U.S. Army during WW II, serving in the South Pacific. In 1946 he was united in marriage to Phyllis Coleman in Seattle, and there they made their home, and where Bud worked as a sign writer. In 1977 they moved to the Sedro-Woolley area.
Bud is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis, at the family home. 3 sons and their wives, Richard Middleton of Union, Oregon, Jerry & Micheline Middleton of Sedro-Woolley and Paul & Rosanne Middleton of Sultan, WA. 1 daughter and son-in-law, Leslie & Bob Craig of Phoenix, AZ. Several brothers and sisters, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry Middleton and several brothers and sisters.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 1:30 PM at the Community Covenant Church in Clear Lake. Pastor Tim Hedberg officiating.
