Edward V. Andrews, age 77, passed away Thursday, July 22nd at his home near Concrete, WA. He was born August 1, 1926 in Syracuse, New York the son of Velevous and Harriett Boyd Andrews.
Edward served in the US Army for 20 years participating in both WWII and Korea. After his military service, he worked for the US Post Office for 20 years. Edward has been a resident of Concrete for the past 20 years and formally resided in Kenmore, WA. He was a member of the Disabled American Vets, life member of VFW, American Legion in Concrete, and the American Postal Workers Union. Edward enjoying working on his Model A’s, tinkering, and spending time on the computer. He is survived by his companion Sylvia Ashe of Concrete. 4 sons Mark, Peter, Paul, and Aaron Andrews. 3 brothers Corkey and his wife Jean Andrews of Rockhill, MO, William Andrews of Carrolton, TX, and Frank and his wife Connie Andrews of Shawnee Mission, KS. Grandchildren Frank, Andrea, and TiffanyAndrews. A daughter in law Carla Andrews of Concrete. Numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Miriam in 1992 and his son David in 1988.
Graveside Memorial Inurnment Services will be held Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Park Cemetery in Concrete with Pastor Bruce Martin of the Concrete Assembly of God Church officiating.
