Eleanora A. Carpenter a longtime resident of Lyman, WA passed away Monday, March 17, 2003 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 90 years. She was born August 25, 1912 in Franklin, North Carolina the daughter of Robert and Mattie Greenwood Williamson. Eleanora has been a resident of Lyman for the past 53 years coming here from North Carolina. She enjoyed gardening and most of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eleanora is survived by her daughter Margie Conard of Lyman and 3 step children Nina Garrnett of Goodlettsville, TN, David Carpenter of New Orleans, LA, and Susie Henderson of Las Vegas, NV. 3 grandchildren Gordon Conard of Lyman, Jill Saxton of Yakima, and Kathy Close of Sedro-Woolley and 4 step grandchildren. 6 great grandchildren Amanda, Megan, Kaysie, and Cody Saxton of Yakima and Riley and Amy Conard of Sedro-Woolley and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady in 1995, her parents, and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside Services will be Friday, March 21, 2003 at 11: 00 AM at the Lyman Cemetery with Pastor Ron Schenk of the Lyman Baptist Church officiating.
