Epp L. ‘Buddy’ Early passed away Friday, April 25, 2003 at his home in Sedro-Woolley, WA at the age of 52 years. He was born June 14, 1950 in Waynesville, NC the son of George and Pansy Walls Early. Buddy grew up in Sedro-Woolley attending school and graduating from Sedro-Woolley High School in 1968. He attended Seattle Community College for two years until enlisting in the US Navy as a submariner serving for 17 years until he was medically discharged. Buddy returned to Sedro-Woolley where for several years he served as the administrator for the Sedro-Woolley Food Bank. He was a member of the Gleaners, First Baptist Church of Sedro-Woolley, and a member of a Disabled Veterans Group at the Seattle VA Hospital. Buddy enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, and bird feeding. He is survived by his moher Pansy Early of Sedro-Woolley. 2 sons George L. and James O. Early both of Seattle. 2 daughters Buffy Jo and her husband Adam Burbridge of Kansas City, MO and Bobbie Jo and her husband Travis Simbulan of Florence, CA. 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father George in 1975.
Graveside Inurnment Services will be Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 2:00PM at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery with Pastor Richard Coursen of the First Baptist Church of Sedro-Woolley officiating. Military Honors will be provided by George Baldridge Post #43 American Legion. Memorials are suggested to Disabled Veterans or the Sedro-Woolley Food Bank.
