Gary Meyers

Wednesday, January 9th, 2013

Gary Oscar Meyers lost his battle to cancer on January 9, 2013. He was born on June 10, 1954 to Ernest and Sheila Meyers, in Essex, Massachusetts. He was raised in Sedro-Woolley and was a 1973 graduate of Sedro-Woolley High School.
During the summer of 1972 Gary played in the American youth concert tour, he played at Carnegie hall and toured all of Europe, his talent was amazing. He then was accepted into the U.S. Army Band and was stationed in California. Gary later moved back to Sedro-Woolley and attended broadcasting school in Seattle. After graduating from school he moved back to California and became a very successful D.J.
Gary missed Washington, so he moved back and got a job at a local radio station. He later went on to become a certified real estate agent. Everything he did, he did with flare.
He met and had a lot of wonderful people in his life along the way. He loved music, camping, and fishing. He spent the last few years dedicated to the ailing health of his mother. He is preceded in death by his mother Sheila Ellis, and father Ernest Meyers.
He is survived by his son, Corey Meyers; daughter, Randilyn White (Jesse); sister, Darlene Crisp; nephew, Kris Greenough (Lisa) and nieces, Nicki Crisp, Carrie Weyand (Elliott) and Jenni Crisp. There will be no services at this time.
