GEOFFREY L. BISBEY, 47, a longtime resident of Sedro-Woolley, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday July 8, 2003 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon.
Geoff was born on November 1, 1955 in Portland, Oregon, a son of Glen & Harla Christel Bisbey. He was raised in several locations in Oregon and Washington, until 1968 when the family settled in Sedro-Woolley, and where Geoff attended school. He worked in the tree removal business with his father and brothers for several years until a disabling accident occurred in 1982, paralyzing him.
Geoff is survived by his mother, Harla Norris of Day Creek. 2 brothers and their wives, Gary & Val Bisbey of Day Creek and Greg & Belinda Bisbey of Sedro-Woolley. 1 sister, Vicki Bisbey of Day Creek. His paternal grandmother, Elsie Harrison of Portland, OR. 5 nephews, Brendan, Buck, Sam and Jonathon Bisbey and Beau Hooper. 5 nieces, Wendy Ethington and her husband Scott, Tessa, Molly and Harla Bisbey, and Brandy Hooper. 2 great-nieces, Asia Bisbey and Kara Jo Ethington. A special aunt & uncle, Gwen & Terry Erickson of Seattle and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Glen in 1999.
