Guadalupe ‘David’ Carrasco a resident of Skagit Valley for the past 30 years passed away at his home in Burlington with his family at his side on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at the age of 48 years. He was born April 20, 1954 in Yuba City, California the son of Gregorio and Guadalupe Flores Carrasco. David worked as an x-ray technician for Rindal Chiropractic in Mount Vernon for many years and later worked for Dri-Eaz. He was a member of Viewcrest Assembly of God Church in Mount Vernon and Roca Fuerte. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his sons and being in the outdoors that was provided by the God that he loved to worship and praise in song. David is survived by his wife Lidia of the family home in Burlington. His children Alex and Brian of the family home in Burlington and of a previous marriage Erika of Phoenix, AZ, and Anthony of San Diego, CA. His mother Guadalupe Carrasco of Mount Vernon and brothers and sisters Manuel and his wife Paula Carrasco of Mount Vernon, Maria Luna of Lake Stevens, George and his wife Bertha Carrasco of Newhall, CA, Martha and her husband Julio Castillo of Sedro-Woolley, Lydia and her husband Elio Andrade of Yuba City, CA, Daniel and his wife Maggie Carrasco of Lake Stevens, and Samuel and his wife Veronica Carrasco of Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at the Viewcrest Assembly of God Church in Mount Vernon at 11:00AM with Pastors Dennis Noble, Jay Wise, Jose Ruiz, and Jose Nolezco co officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Park on College Way. Visitation will be Monday and Tuesday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Tuesday evening at 7:00PM at Lemley Chapel.
