Helen Marie Self, 51, a longtime resident of Hamilton, Washington passed away on Monday March 7, 2005 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on April 14, 1953, in King County, Washington.
Helen attended grade school in Big Lake, later moving to Wenatchee where she graduated from high school.
She united in marriage to Lewis Self on January 3, 1978, in Anacortes, Washington. Helen worked most of her life at Bunnies by the Bay as a seamstress. She also worked at Value Village for four years as a checker. Helen will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Lewis. 2 step-sons Kevin Self and Rick Self and his wife Jennifer. Two step-daughters, Joann Thompson and her husband, Dave and Julie Bacus and her husband, Wayne. 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. 3 nieces, Bobby Ann Bonnington and her husband John, Tina, and Cindy, and a great-niece and great nephew Michael and Sara, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Tuffy. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and a nephew Christopher.
Graveside Inurnment services will be on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association of Washington 2625 3rd Ave. Seattle, WA 98121, to be used for Asthma research.
