J.D. SCALLION, 74, a former Marysville area resident passed away on August 25, 2005 in Concrete, Washington.
J.D. was born on February 2, 1931 in Benton, Arkansas, to John D. & Maunette Beaver Scallion.
J.D. was raised and attended school in Arkansas.
In 1954 J.D. enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving our country for over 20 years. After being discharged from the service in 1974, J.D. resided in California working for the Northrup Co., teaching aircraft construction, retiring in 1990 and moving to Concrete, WA in 2003.
J.D. is survived by 3 daughters, Grace Swiney of Kentucky, Karen Moser of Indiana and Nancy Lynne Peck of Illinois; 3 sisters residing in the Marysville and Yuba City area, 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with Military Honors were held at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on September 6, 2005 under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
