James Keith Wenrick, age 60, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at his home in Sedro-Woolley. He was born November 26, 1946 in Sedro-Woolley, WA, the son of Victor and Edna Hehr Wenrick.
James grew up in Concrete attending school and was married to Sharon Brown on September 25, 1965 in Marblemount, residing in Concrete and later Mount Vernon and finally settling in Sedro-Woolley 39 years ago. He worked as a welder for Bendix Corporation for 26 years and later worked for Dakota Creek Industries and Edco. James was a former member of the Skagit Dart League and Fast Draw Competition, he loved fishing and was a member of the Wildcat Steelhead Club and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sedro-Woolley.
He is survived by his sons, Kelly Wenrick and his wife Angela and Dwayne Wenrick and his wife Carol and a daughter Becky Dreyer and her husband Garrett all of Sedro-Woolley. 5 grandchildren, Vickie and Kevin Wenrick, Steven Gasho, Sarah Elder, and Josh Gruwell. 3 brothers, Wally Wenrick and his wife Pauline of Concrete, Wilbur Wenrick and his wife Betty of Bow, Richard Wenrick and his wife Margaret of Oregon, and a sister Jean Keith and her husband Bob of Mount Vernon. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon in March of 1998, his parents, a brother, Victor Jr. and 2 sisters, Viola Seese and Marie Mulner.
Funeral Services will be Monday, January 22, 2007 at 11:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Richard Coursen officiating with private family interment to follow at Hawthorne Memorial Park in Mount Vernon. A potluck celebration of life will follow the services at the American Legion Banquet Hall. Visitation will be Friday and Saturday from 9:00Am to 5:00 PM and Sunday by appointment at Lemley Chapel.
